EOS voting decay applies to proxied accounts and to keep their votes at full strength, you need to reassign proxy to same proxy account every week. As proxy assignment can be changed any time by voter, we do not see a need for proxy decay as long as proxy votes regularly. Many wallets have already enabled auto-refresh of proxy. Removing proxy decay will help an average voter to keep his vote at full strength.

  • This is an important issue but due to well reasoned points by each side I vote to abstain.

  • We don't believe proxy voting should be treated any different than normal voting. Proxying is a convenience, not a privileged position. We see benefits of having decay (rewards active participation, avoids deceased voters having equal influence) and negatives to not having decay (would encourage a drifting of voting to proxies to maintain voting strength while disincentivizing active voter participation b/c "the proxy is taking care of it" mentality. ) We don't see a need to eliminate decay only to those using a proxy.

  • We would be open to it being reduced but not removed. Also "regularly" needs some definition.

  • Increase the delay, but no delay gives too much power to proxies
